I BOUGHT NEW SKATES! RAZOR SL GRAPHITE REVIEW A few weeks ago, I drove to Eau Claire Wisconsin to visit Resurgence Skate Shop to pick up a new pair of Razors Sky Blue SL's. Razor skates have been my personal favorite for years, and I love the way the skates feel straight out of the box. However, for this setup, I decided to do some extensive customization, including a unique color scheme and a ...

With a blend of creativity, style, and a seemingly endless trick vocabulary, it's no doubt that Richie deserves to go down as one of the best rollerbladers ever. In this vi...

For the last year, I've been building a private skatepark and office for business and for fun . . . the Roll Minnesota Headquarters! After a long journey, it's finally ready, so I invited Dave Walsh and Jacob Ferge out for a session. In short, our new skatepark is AMAZING! The 12' down boxes really make for the perfect box setup. Even CHRIS FARMER is IMPRESSED with These Guys! Ryan Googins, Chemi Simiyu, and Dereck Larsen are a few local skaters that have left their mark on Minnesota skating. I have been fortunate enough to skate with each of these of these individuals over the years and come to know each as friends. Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite sections of theirs: Ryan Googins (Birdz and the Beez), Chem...

RACHARD JOHNSON: USD PRO to UA-cam PRO! Rachard Johnson is an amazing skater and a great ambassador to the sport. A few years ago, he started a UA-cam channel promoting "One Trick a Day" which has been widely successful. Perhaps it's his enthusiasm for blading or his positive energy, but whatever it is inline skating could use more of it! Today, we're paying tribute with a look back at Rachard'...
RAZORS SHIFT vs RAZORS SL: Watch Before Buying! (Broom Shift Review)

RAZORS SHIFT vs RAZORS SL: WATCH BEFORE BUYING! Last summer, Geoff Acers at Razors sent me some new skates to review, the Andrew Broom Shift skate. Razors SL have been my favorite skate for years; however, I've never given the Shirt skate a comprehensive review. In this video, I decided to pit the two skates against each other and provide an in-depth comparison . . . which boot will be victorio...
WHERE IS MIKE MURDA JOHNSON? (Razors Pro Skater)

WHERE IS MIKE MURDA JOHNSON? (RAZORS PRO) Mike Murda Johnson is widely regarded as one of the best (if not the best) rollerbladers at technical switchups. He had an incredibly long and successful career and inspired many skaters with his impossible footwork and balance. Personally, I'll never forget his pro-boots, they were some of my first Razor skates and one of my favorite designs. In this e...

NEW SAVAGE SKATE PARK - HUGE UPGRADES! Savage skate park recently underwent major improvements, including huge upgrades to the ramps and riding surface. The old ramps were replaced with modular metal ramps including a new street section, a new mini ramp, and a new transition section. The location was also moved with a new asphalt riding surface (much smoother). In this video, we decided to revi...

NILS JANSONS DID IT AGAIN! WINTERCLASH CHAMPION In this episode of Rolling Reactions, we sample some skating from Latvia's Nils Jansons. For those of us who have been around the sport for awhile, it was clear that Nils would one day be at the epicenter of professional rollerblading. He has been wowing audiences ever since he was a kid, and in 2012 Nils was even named One Magazine's Blader of th...

EUGEN ENIN DID IT AGAIN! (USD Skates - No Name) In this episode of Rolling Reactions, I wanted to highlight Eugen Enin's "No Name" profile with USD Skates. We'll also take a look at USD's 2023 Edit highlighting the rest of the USD team. In my mind, Eugen is one of the most innovative inline skaters in blading, proving once again that rollerblading has plenty of new possibilities to explore. Con...

While there are a number of professional inline skaters deserving of this honor, I wanted to share my personal selection: Julien Cudot. 2023 was a monster year for Cudot, who won a number of high profile competitions in...

Want to Get BETTER at Skating? DO THIS! (Trick Challenge)

Want to Get BETTER at Skating? DO THIS! (Trick Challenge) In order to progress, you have to to challenge yourself! I recommend keeping a list of new tricks to try, especially if you're skating the same obstacles and parks regularly. Personally, I make it my mission to learn something new every time I go skating. Not only does this keep skating fresh and interesting but it also leads to personal...
I had his shoes in high school… they were the most comfortable shoes! I always got compliments on them. They were so badass… my brother wore em & lost em… I have tried to find them now for like 20 years almost & still can’t find them anywhere… Anyone know where I can find em lemme know lol!
Franky king hands down then me lol if i had skates franky even got nothing on me
Dear Butch, I absolutely adore your channel , thank you for all the effort and time you dedicate for our entertainment. All said and done i do have one dislike that i feel obligated to share. THE MUSIC!!! I BEG YOU MY GUY!!! Club musick is everywhere don't let it infiltrate rollerblading more than it does. TRY SOME METAL BABY! all the love bro.
Personally, metal is not my style or preference. I do enjoy alternative rock and classic rock, but metal is too aggressive and abrasive for my taste . . . especially when most of my videos have dialogue and commentary throughout. I do recycle the same music a lot, but that's partially due to UA-cam's content ID system limiting what can be used without getting demonetized or removed. I'll try to mix it up a bit more in the future though.
@RollMinnesota i agree metal might not be right with commentary. Hey man, you're the best.
2:24 Amazing Dale shirt. Bill Elliot was my guy during his golden pass in the grass era.
Beautiful!
those skates are absolutely beautiful.
Thanks Shane! Lololol
nice
another banger video bro, just watched with my sons. the cess over to fish is gold
Thank you sir! I love those darkside cess tricks . . . I did one to A/O topsoul on one of the down boxes recently. It took FOREVER!
I'm in Minneapolis and have been wizard skating for years but want to get into aggressive. I bought a pair of Them 909's and am too scared to get started in front of so many skateboarders. is your park open to the public like with an entry fee? thanks!
I'd love to visit a physical skate shop. I'll definitely stop in if I ever come out that way.
Please do!!
the razor SL is breakable dont be fooled, the mid sole base get break in less 1 year of skating. Remember that!
I've never broken a pair of SL's (besides the buckles); however, I do consider them a budget skate that quickly wears. I buy a new pair of skates every year.
Great review!
Thanks Be-Mag! We appreciate your ongoing contributions to the blading scene!
thats a fire colorway! great skating ol chap 🎩
Thanks! I love how they turned out.
You should try the new one piece soulplate for the SL's, so much better!
I plan to . . . I also want to try the Angles Souls.
@@RollMinnesotaI wish they'd send you a pair. I want you and code blading to battle. For fun of course. My two fave youtube SL bladsers.
are those eulogy's not anti rockers ? was they not slippy touching the floor ?
They are actual wheels, a little harder than most, but designed to roll.
They say there anti rockers online , you think they’ll fit Kizer fluid 5s?
Thank you so much for coming out!! We really appreciate it!!
Absolutely! Thanks for hosting me . . . I'll drop by for a Sunday session one of these days.
Do you find the souls slow on SLs?
No, I find them comparable to pretty much every other skate on the market.
The hi lo frame is so dope if you find a black slide plate it would look so good with your setup.
Agreed! Ideally, black would have been my choice, but they are impossible to find.
So awesome to see a real skateshop. Ive never been to one, but always wanted to open one as a kid. On another not, once I saw those sky blue skates I had the exact same idea of doing the black and blue. Good to see if I ever get them they look sick.
Hopefully, physical skateshops make a comeback!
Butch Lehman 2024: Makes a skate park Butch Lehman 2025: Opens a skate shop?? 😁😁😁
That's the long-term plan . . . though I'd start small.
Gc hilos 🔥🔥🔥
Best frames ever made!
Razors and Roces: How many colors can we release the same skates in? ALL OF THEM.
Yup! I wishes Razors offered a yellow skate . . .
@@RollMinnesotathank you. You beat me to it. Don't think orange has been offered either on razors... even as a cuff/frame color
Insane
Brian is so good.
Rollerblading has degressed since Aragon left the game.
Used to have the Tarmac by RB back in the day and even before that we pulled all these tricks without all the fancy boots and high tech frames... Verdict Learn to skate 😝
I thought you broke your arm for sure on those true spin fish
Back to razors after like 3 years of trying 5 or so different skates and brands and previous skating sl's I find the brooms perfect , I run mine with oysi frames because I struggle with wheel bite but love skating flat and I find the liner it comes with much better than my old reign liners I used in other skates as they are much newer than the ones I had overall a 10/10 skate although they feel very chunky because I was able to downsize in some other brand skates but I love them ! Was a really in-depth review and covered everything perfectly and agreed with so many points you said
Ridiculously steezy. Need to find that sweet 16 vid asap
This is the kind of creativity I like to see 🔥🔥🔥!!!
i love sagona
Legend
And that's why you keep the bolts in the would on the razors shift....
When Gumby almost died on that rail transfer and cut his carotid artery is the one I can’t watch. Also Jordan Dale got so messed up on that fast slide. Facial reconstruction. Jordan was always a great dude to roll with
A=SHOULDA GOT THE THRONES BUTCH! HAHAHAHA
Good stuff. Great content as always. From your experience, how often is it required to buy a fresh pair of SL boots when skating regularly to avoid them getting too soft/flimsy or is it enough to replace just the cuffs?
Realistically, I think they could last for several years without replacement. I guess it depends on how much damage you inflict on them. I go through Razor buckles about every 6-8 months, but I drag my feet when I fall. Personally, I buy a new pair of skates every spring . . . I'm hard on my skates and like to support the industry.
Between him and franky
First time I heard of Brian Aragon was when I got back to the grind in 2020 after a 20-year break from blading. I was stunned by his skill.
Great video! What frames are you using?
These are Kizer Slimline frames . . . some of my favorites!
Best blader ever!!!!
This is too good honestly
The prince 🤴 will forever be the GOAT 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
growing up filming him has been an honor and made me a better Filmer all-around
I love this channel. You’ve got a sub for me, brother.
one of the craziest things of aragon is that he spins both directions so easy
Tech Hammer King
The Greatest of All Time!!!!!
The goat argument can only be between him and haffey
And Latimer
broskow?
Without a doubt my favourite skater. His style is just so smooth and to me, style is everything. I'd rather watch a clean 360 than a sloppy 900 or 1080.
